St Petersburg, FL — Top Tampa Bay prospect Delmon Young was suspended indefinitely by the International League on Thursday, a day after throwing a bat that hit a replacement umpire in the chest. “The f**king ump called me a Republican! Can you believe that? You might as well go after my mama if you’re going to call me a Republican, because I’m coming after you either way. I’m only sorry that I didn’t hurt the guy.” Republican’s ownership stated that a rich, young, spoiled man who got his money playing a mere game beating the hell out of a member of the working class is exactly the image they’re seeking to promote and congratulated Mr. Young for his actions.
