In case some of you are feeling like you are in the movie Ground Hog Day, rest easy: Andy sent virtually the identical message about Winick’s new-found expert status last year on almost this exact same date. I have replicated it below for league historians to study:

Great quote! Does anyone remember former Cub (and current Astro) announcer Milo Hamilton? He used to say things like that all the time. Similar to A.J., I remember him once opining that “you won’t win many games if you don’t score any runs, good kid.”
