[USML Announce] DUMP Update - Longoria Keeps on Truckin

Although still damned by the PT/KR moniker of "hardly encouraging", Evan  
Longoria continues to put up numbers that fly in the face of Mr. B's  assessment.
 
This just in from Baseball America:
 
Now at his third pro level of the last  two months since going No. 3 overall, 
Longoria just keeps hitting, belting  his first Double-A homer Sunday. Did 
you know he has 13 home runs in just 39 pro  games? Or that he was hitting 
.348/.416/.677 overall? B.J. Upton better start  playing well, because his spot at 
third base could be in jeopardy next year if  Longoria keeps hitting like this.

Uh, oh!  Was that BJ "Oops" Upton's  name that I heard mentioned?  Might 
Tampa Bay be interested in a third  baseman who rakes AND who doesn't have hands 
of stone?  This one should be  fun to watch.  
 
More to follow.  In the meantime, I  hereby request that PT/KR make a few 
more disparaging comments about Berliner  prospects.  It seems to be exactly the 
motivation they need to turn  themselves into future All-Stars.
