B.J. Ryan felt soreness in his left elbow after pitching one inning on Monday.

Ryan said the soreness felt different than typical arm soreness, but that Toronto's trainers didn't think it was anything to worry about. He is expected to throw again on Thursday, but will wait to see how his arm feels in the next couple of days. Ryan is recovering from Tommy John surgery, and had been expected to be ready for Opening Day.

The comforting element here is that we know the Toronto staff would never downplay and injury.? If they're not worried, we're not worried.? Right?
