Took too long, but totally deserved.  Hope he goes in as a Cub. 

I'm astounded that they didn't vote Alomar in. I guess that was punishment for the spitting incident, but even Hirschbeck said he thought Alomar should be voted in this year. Guess there's now a moral component to Hall selection. Lucky for Ruth, Mantle, Cobb, etc. that that wasn't always the case.
