Subject: We have openings in ultra style leagues in Chicago

Gents,
1-11-10

I belong to three ultra roto leagues based here in Chicago. It is
difficult to find owners in the Chicago area due to the narrow vision of the
typical Chicago fan who chooses to focus on his/her own hometown teams.

We have one opening in three different ultra styles. We are looking for an
owner for each of these leagues that is competent in the ultra style while
being able to get along with other people.

The Al Lopez American League has been ongoing for approximately 20 years.

The Bill Veeck National League is a "brother" league to the before mentioned
and was formed a few years later. Both are run by an excellent
commissioner with almost identical rules (Greg Dunn of Burson/Marsteller).
These two ultra's hold their annual auction draft and reserve rounds the
weekend following opening day (usually five or six days into the season),
one occurring Saturday and the other Sunday in Oakbrook Terrace. Greg has
done a whale of a job finding competitive owners that have advanced these
leagues in professionalism.

The Chicago Area Baseball Lunatics League (Cablun) is a National League
ultra league that also has one opening. We have been ongoing for six years
and hold the auction/reserve drafts on the weekend just before the season
starts...but are holding this year's festivities on March 28th this year to
avoid Easter weekend. I am newer and less knowledgeable of this seemingly
fine league.

If any owner in your fine league would be interested in expanding their
horizons into another ultra venture in Chicagoland, we would love to here
more about the interest! I could pass interested owners on to the
commissioner in the league of their choice to discuss the opportunity.

Thanks for your time,

Jeff Hainey, owner of

Chicks Dig the Long Ball (Lopez A.L.)

Head First Slide (Veeck N.L.)

Field a Dream (Cablun N.L.)
