I'm sure I'll find a way to screw it up -- and yes I'm fully aware of the
players you listed.  It wasn't too hard to grab a $1 catcher and tuck him on
a reserve roster either for a couple of years.  That's the same thing I did
with Grady Sizemore.  It's tough to go more than a dollar or two on those
kinds of guys.  I think I got in a bidding war with Blocker a few years ago
for Quiroz.  (Blocker won at $3 -- well, I would exactly call that a win.)

By the way, part of my reasoning in extending those contracts was to try and
create valuable trade chips.  I hope it pays off.  How often has the
"Shandler favorite" won?  Usually not -- right?

Oh well -- it should be fun.

Knowing full well that there are a number league members who rely on the
word of Master Ron as gospel, I thought it only fair that the rest of league
be let in on the secret.

The bottom line is this:  Robbins is the prohibitive favorite for the 2012
Damon.  In fact, according to the gospel of Ron, it's hard to imagine how he
could screw this up.  

Projected undervalue:

Robbins 61!!
Jansen 33
Winick 30
Barrett 24
Kerber 20
Klein 18
Shabelman 17
Fruit 17
Blocker 7
Gammons 1

Projected Standings:
Robbins 80.5!!
Winick  69
Barrett  66
Gammons  58.5
Fruit  53.5

Jansen  47
Shabelman  43
Kerber  42.5
Blocker  41.5

And Robbins has $171 left to spend.  Imagine where he'd be if he hadn't
spent $30 on extended contracts.

Then again, I'm fairly certain that the Rotolab software hasn't yet
correctly identified the ultimate champion.  There's also the fact that
we're drafting before the start of the season.  Will the same guy that
drafted his current catcher 2 years ago only to watch him sit on his bench
for nearly that entire time really be able to lay off of guys like Ben
Revere, Dellin Betances, Chris Archer, Dayan Viciedo, Nick Weglarz, Alexi
Ogando and Engel Beltre (all of whom are draft eligible by virtue of being
on the 40 man rosters - but you knew that Rich, didn't you)?

I'll be providing my own prognostications immediately after the draft, but
if I were placing odds at this moment, I'd have to go in another direction.
Considering the depth of his pitching and the fact that he has Jesus on his
side, my opening line would have the Riptorns leading the field at 2-1.
