Dear Brad,

Since you were so helpful with my question concerning saves in Toronto I
thought I'd ask you another question that's come up.

I just read the Jeff Niemann has been working on his slider.  He's an AL
pitcher and likely won't spend too much time on the base paths.  Why should
he be working on sliding?
