Borbon's TEX roster spot in jeopardy?

A report from the Dallas Morning News Saturday suggests that TEX CF 
Julio Borbon?s job and roster spot are officially in question thanks to 
some terrible CF defense this spring. While walking only twice, Borbon 
has otherwise had a decent spring offensively (.348 BA, 92% ct%, 4/1 
SB/CS), but he has also committed five errors while apparently 
irritating Ranger management with his lapses and OF routes. TEX manager 
Ron Washington said that David Murphy (OF, TEX) would see some time in 
CF over the final ten days of camp, while Josh Hamilton (OF, TEX) 
played CF vs. SEA on Saturday.

A wakeup call in the form of a trip to the minors for Borbon could have 
significant fantasy impact--not just for Borbon owners, but also for 
Hamilton owners who were hoping that he could stay healthy by avoiding 
CF. And Murphy owners may be getting his playing time break early this 
year, without an injury to another TEX OF. With PT, Murphy provides 
decent value across the board offensively, while Borbon's AB now appear 
to be in jeopardy, at least for the beginning of the season. Stayed 
tuned to this fluid situation.
