If you are wondering about the impact of having one less team, nowhere is
that more evident that in the rotation draft, which was filled with useful
players.  Here are my nominations for the best rotation draft picks based on
play so far.

 

Round 1;  Hafner, F. Garcia, B. Boesch

 

Rounds 2-3:  Rauch (a full time closer!), Fuentes (7 saves!), J. Francis

 

Rounds 4-6:  C. Jackson, S. Santos, M. Trumbo

 

Rounds 7-17:  B. McCarthy, B. Colon (way better starters than my $42
waste-product-combo of Liriano/Hughes)
