Alright, I'll take the heat for Plouffe, but I wasn't the only dreamer to bid double digits on him. Besides,
if you had to start B. Ryan, you'd think Plouffe was an upgrade too! But don't go casting aspersions Mr.
Guyer's way - the Cub fans among us can vouch that this young man has some real talent and is a
STEAL at $5. Just you wait until 2012 or 13!!

Subject: [USML Announce] FAAB Follies

ITEMS:
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Brandon Guyer, who homered in his first
major league at-bat Friday night, headed back to the minor leagues
Sunday.

Trevor Plouffe left Sunday's loss to Boston in the eighth inning with
an injured left hamstring and will be re-evaluated Monday, the
Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

LOSERS: Reckless teams that pursue the hot hand through FAAB bidding,
only to see their hearts broken and their FAAB budgets busted. Can you
spell Albuquerque?

WINNER: Berliners and Angries. After this Sunday's frenzy they don't
look quite as silly for spending $21 on Matt Harrison and $22 on Dan
Cooper, respectively.
