Hell - my patchwork quilt of middle relievers has yielded more than
expected. Now it's time for Bailey to get back. By the way, where is
Rauch? Thanks for reminding me about him Brad. I think I may have left him
at work, but maybe I left him at the grocery store.

ITEM:

Mariners manager Eric Wedge indicated following Friday's game that Brandon
League may be temporarily removed from the closer role. And it's easy to see
why. League has given up 10 runs on 12 hits en route to four straight losses
this week. "He started off like gangbusters, but he's had a tough three or
four days," said Wedge. "We'll have to take a look at everything tomorrow
and go from there."

LOSER: With League's struggles, Rauch's disappearance and Bailey's injury,
the Red Hots are not quite so mighty as team will lose save points and
continue its FALL FROM GRACE.

WINNER: Berliners. Can either try trading Thornton for Hosmer or hold out
hope they pass MRH in saves points. Trend is SLIGHT UPTICK.
