 Please do not think for a moment that the Rips' trade of Macier Izturis for Tyson Ross signals some movement toward dumping. If you saw Ross, reviewed his statistics or consulted Jeffrey Winick, you would know why Ross now is a Riptorn. 
 On the contrary, the Riptorns are fully engaged in this year's pennant chase, especially now that the presumed front-runner Red Hots traded away their two best players in Santana and Hosmer. The field is wide open. The Riptorns are ready, willing and able to take down the K9, LMC, Nukes, MRH and anyone else who stands in their way.
