"I believe the message is quite clear" means that is your interpretation, not what I wrote.
And of course, the hope for Mr. Avery is that he becomes the leadoff hitter in 2013. If so, he will be a roto bargain at $2.

Mark,
It's me - I'll let your words speak for themselves:
If your email box is overrun with emails from Brad and his weekly
"information," you may not have noticed that the Orioles have promoted
Xavier Avery to the majors. The 22-year old SPEED MERCHANT has stolen
35+ bases each of the last two years in the minors, and already had 8
swipes without being caught before his promotion yesterday. The
Orioles have wisely installed young Avery as the leadoff hitter on an
improving young Orioles roster (Andy: Wieters is like an elder
statesman on this team). The time is now to start making offers for
this fine young prospect, who is a ROTO BARGAIN at $2. (CAPS ADDED for
emphasis).
Not as flamboyant as the typical Brad Lee advertisement, but I believe
the message is quite clear. But if you're really looking to just dump
this guy for nothing give me a call. He probably will steal 5 bases
this year which makes him worth trading a schlub for.
Jeff

Jeff or Brad: I am quite certain no email I sent contained those words
about Xavier Avery, although he remains an excellent prospect. But
thanks for your "safe" guarantee about Mr. Myers.-----Original

from me. If it were from Brad there would have been either a subtle
dig accompanying the compliment or a subliminal message seeking to
entice you to make a bad trade with him.To put things in proper
perspective for you, I'd say that I can safely guarantee that Myers
will be better than Xavier Avery and as you've already told us, that
makes him worthy of a major dump trade.Jeff-----Original

for the commercial. I had to double-check to see if the message was
from you or Brad, but further investigation is underway. For the
benefit of the rest of the league, though, would you say young Mr.
Myers is the next Hosmer? As for the Bombers, I noticed that as of
this morning I am tied with the Klein Nine. If you want to know how to
tell if a team needs to consider dumping, proximity to the Klein Nine
is definitely a litmus test. Hopefully my team's fortunes will pick
up, but if not, you know where to find me. -- Mark -----Original

Announce] Berliners See Red Over EricMark,You don't have to be the
president of the Berliner Fan Club to recognize the potential in young
Mr. Myers. This was just posted to ESPN.com:1. Wil Myers, OF, Kansas
City Royals (Last week: unranked)Last week's stats (at Double-A
Northwest Arkansas/Triple-A Omaha): 8-for-22 (.364), 2 HR, 6 RBIsSeason
totals: .345-13-31, 4 SB in 36 gamesUpdate: No. 1 with a bullet! Myers
was tearing up the Texas League, hitting home runs in five of six games
at one point while hitting .343-13-30 in 35 games, but considering he
wasn't on the Royals' 40-man roster and was sitting at Double-A, and
with the Royals not expected to contend, Myers didn't look like much
more than a September call-up. Then came Thursday's promotion to
Triple-A, an indication that the Royals might be thinking much sooner
than that. What he can do: One of the best pure hitters in the minors,
Myers combines an excellent approach at the plate with a
lightning-quick bat and rapidly developing power. He's not a runner,
but he has everything it takes to be a middle-of-the-order impact
bat.Of course, you won't be interested because rumor has it that you're
all in this year and foregoing the annual drive for five. Nonetheless,
if you happen to change your mind, you know where to find
me.Jeff-----Original Message-----From: Blocker, Mark B.

Mighty Moustakas moves to first and Wil Myers (who is seeing time again
at 3B) will get called up and likely lead the Berliners to the Damon.
Myers is the best minor leaguer available on anyone's team other than
mine.Brad On Thu, May 17, 2012 at 9:53 AM, Blocker, Mark B.

went 0-for-7 in Wednesday's 15-inning loss to the Orioles.Hosmer's
latest brutal night makes him just 9-for-59 in the month of May, and
leaves him with a borderline unfathomable .174/.237/.319 triple slash.
We still expect Hosmer to ultimately make himself useful in mixed
leagues this season, but there's no reason for him to be in your
starting lineup outside of deeper AL-only leagues for the time being.
If he continues to struggle to this magnitude, it's not inconceivable
that Kansas City may send him to Triple-A to iron out his swing.

Eric ITEMEric Hosmer is vastly underwhelming in his sophomore
season.Over 34 games, he has a .174/.243/.326 line in 144 plate
appearances. In a season where very little has gone right, Hosmer is a
big part of the “gone wrong” column.LOSERSBerliners. With Swisher
falling back to earth, Doumit sidelined and Upton underperforming,
Hosmer now offers only faint hope for team desparately thirsting for
power production as hopes to capture Damon START TO DRY UP.WINNERAdams
Family Values. Berliners' raging desire for Chris Davis only grows
deeper with each Hosmer o'fer as AFV SMELLS BLOOD IN THE
WATER. ------------------------------------------------------------------
