*ESPN.com reports: *Major League Baseball is investigating New York Yankees
second baseman Robinson Cano for potentially having ties to controversial
South Florida clinic Biogenesis.

Sonia Cruz, a spokeswoman for Cano's foundation, is listed as being a
Biogenesis customer last summer. The Miami-based clinic is suspected of
providing performance-enhancing drugs to major league players.

*LOSER*

Hoosier Daddies. Cano deal too good to be true, as team jumped gun in
shipping off Brian Roberts.

Riptorns. Fight for fifth is on as Jayson Nix's stranglehold on Yankee
roster spot strengthened with injuries to A-Rod and Jeter and pending
indictment of Cano.
