Peralta is accepting a 50-game suspension from Major League Baseball
effective
immediately, for his connection to the Biogenesis clinic, Fox Sports' Ken
Rosenthal
reports.

ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: The Tigers have 53 games remaining in the regular
season,
which would enable Peralta to return for a few contests before possible
inclusion
on the team's playoff roster, although those plans have not been laid out
publicly
by the organization at this time. Jose Iglesias will likely take on the bulk
of the playing time at shortstop for the Tigers in Peralta's absence.
