I'd love to see the Red Hots (or the Bombers or the Riptorns) win over the Berliners by a half point--or better yet, a tiebreaker.  I even have a special trophy in mind for the runner up in that case.  It would be a Frank Thomas bobblehead with a skirt on it--"the Big Skirt Award."  Or maybe that wouldn't be well received.

Izturis is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mariners.

ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Izturis has seen most of the playing time at second base
lately, but Mark DeRosa will get the nod Wednesday. This looked like a platoon
situation, so it's a bit surprising to see DeRosa start when the Mariners have
a right-handed pitcher (Aaron Harang) on the mound. Perhaps the division of
playing time will be more even than we originally thought.
