I shot one under at Par-King in Lincolnshire once. I think Doug has
beaten that, though.

Right? And golf! Golf isn't a sport. It's barely a hobby. And I
say this as someone who's high school score of one under par in

a match against North Central in the 70's still hasn't been beaten.

What is Buddha's view on BMX racing? I think that survived, too ...

I'm thinking unresolved issues.

somehow I think Buddha had a hand in the Olympic wrestling
decision.

It's incredibly stupid, in that very special IOC kind of way.
Modern pentathlon stays in--of course, because Jaun Antonio Samaranch is
the head of that sports governing body. The head of FILA (the wrestling
governing body) has no major connections on the IOC, so wrestling gets
screwed. Or maybe there was just a giant bag of cash involved
somewhere--which is so often the case when anything screwy happens with
the Olympics.

On the other hand, rhythmic gymnastics stays in, which I view as
a good thing no matter what Buddha might think.

Hey, Kerber, what do you think about the Olympics dumping
wrestling??

By getting really fat, yes. But if it's mostly muscle,
the guy is definitely juicing. It is flat-out impossible to pack on
that much muscle in a few months.

One can easily add pounds during the offseason without
performance enhancers.

		ITEM
		 Mariners shortstop prospect Nick Franklin
<http://baseball2.onroto.com/baseball/webnew/display_player_profile.pl?U
SML+6+2845&session_id=QsC7GSzyXs1e8Ermp6cW4Mtdju> has bulked up by
adding an additional 35 pounds this offseason.
Spin: Franklin reported to camp last year at 6'1 and 180
pounds, and the organization wanted him to bulk up over the winter. He
hit .287/.358/.430 with six homers and 16 steals across three levels in
2012, and could see significant time with the Mariners in 2013 with only
Robert Andino blocking his path.

		WINNER

Riptorns. Plan to retain minor leaguers instead of
overpaid, overstuffed veterans gets major boost with rising star Nick
Franklin (5-R), sure to be key cog in Mariners wheel of fortune.

		LOSER

Red Hots. Will have to be satisfied with keeping only
Ackley as Andino has no future in Seattle's keystone combo.
