The good news is that the rest of you are not too late.  There's still plenty of good shopping at the Berliner Market. But don't wait too long - things are moving fast.  Consider some of the following Grade A talent that can still be had:


Casey Janssen $10/FA - it's only his back this is hurting and it's not like the guys trying to do the job now will be an impediment.


Manny Machado $10/FA - he's off on a rehab assignment now. 


Mark Buehrle - $1/Y1 - nothing fancy, he just gets the job done year after year.


Jake Peavy - $9/FA - playing for a good team and throwing well.


Nick Swisher - $20/Y1 - look at his numbers - he's as sure a thing as there is in baseball.


Adam Dunn - $3/Y1 - cheap power.


Desmond Jennings - $15/FA - cheap power and speed.


Carlos Santana - $26/Y1 - qualifies at catcher and third base.


Yoenis Cespedes - $29/Y1 - a lock for 25+ home runs with a little bit of speed.


Heck - if the price is right, you just might be able to talk me out of Max Scherzer.

Keep in mind that trades can include a return of talent or a willingness to take on Matt Moore and his $10 guaranteed contract.
