Went to the Indianapolis AAA game last night - the Columbus Clippers 
(Cleveland's affiliate) were the opponent.  I was excited about seeing 
recently-promoted Berliner uber-bean Francisco Lindor.  But lo and 
behold, who came up to the plate before him?  Russell Branyan ... just 
signed to a minor league contract by the Tribe!

Rich ... you'll be glad to know that, even at 38 years old, Branyan 
looks big and strong.  And he still doesn't make much contact.  For the 
young guys out there, Branyan was a late 1990s version of Javy Baez.  Or 
perhaps Baez is a modern version of Russell Branyan.

Anyway, can't wait to see Addison Russell debut next year.  I hear he's 
"can't-miss" at shortstop.  Sort of like Brandon Wood ...
