This may be heresy, but I think that Winick fellow may yet have an impact.  As I understand it, he has quite a track record in a lesser league of some sort, and he may be able to translate that success into a USML victory.

  We are in the part of the year in which any player acquired by FAAB is assigned a contract status of "FA."  As a result, for all of the players acquired this past weekend, or who may be acquired in the coming weeks, I will manually change the contract status to FA.
