Interesting.  Ballsy move, but also a pretty calculated risk.  Klein gets Ohtani plus Neris for cheap, at least compared to what he'd have had to pay if Ohtani were a lock to be in the AL beyond the deadline.  At the same time, Ohtani is now effectively a pure pitcher, given that his power is useless to the Nine.
