[USML Announce] USML - rosters update

Almost forgot to mention my petition for a rules change.  Way back when and over my objection, we stopped referring to our league by its real moniker – Uncle Sidley’s Major League.  If I recall correctly, someone suggested that using the real name could get those of us who were still working at Sidley fired.  I can’t imagine that was ever true, but it certainly isn’t true any more.

I hereby move that we proudly return to calling ourselves who we are – Uncle Sidley’s Major League and that the website reflect the change.

Do I have a second?

The phone cut out because there was a fistfight between me and Blocker when he disallowed my pickup of Drew Strotman because I didn’t designate him as an available player before the draft.  Had to settle for a kid with similar bloodlines in Ethan Holliday.  😉

League:  I have received 6 of the 10 rosters, so those teams are now reflected on the website.  Note that, as in past year, we will need to request that certain players be added to the database for some of those rosters.  As for the other 4 rosters, those will be entered late tonight, assuming that I receive them today.



Great seeing everyone today.  Doing the draft in person is great fun.
