 BTW, my email below was intended entirely--and only--as a joking response to Rick's email. If either Jeff or Mark found it insulting, that was not my intention, and I apologize.
Regarding the merits of the trade, I think I like the Bombers' side of the deal better. A Y1 Weathers could easily turn out to be worth more than a Y2 McGonigle. If that's even a push, the Bombers get the rest of the stuff for free.

During the season, a team may engage in a trade with another team in which the difference between the number of Asterisk Players that it trades away and the number of Asterisk players that it disposes of is one, provided, that the teams involved in the trade have not consummated another trade with each other during the season in reliance on this Section 12.9.
