Peralta is accepting a 50-game suspension from Major League Baseball effective<br>
immediately, for his connection to the Biogenesis clinic, Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal<br>
reports.<br>

ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: The Tigers have 53 games remaining in the regular season,<br>
which would enable Peralta to return for a few contests before possible inclusion<br>
on the team's playoff roster, although those plans have not been laid out publicly<br>
by the organization at this time. Jose Iglesias will likely take on the bulk<br>
of the playing time at shortstop for the Tigers in Peralta's absence.<br>
