<div>As you know, I participate in many leagues and therefore have a great deal of experience to draw upon. By far the most effective way of reducing the anxiety associated with dump trades is to reduce the in-season salary cap so that the ability to use dump trades to entirely change the tenor of a season is diminished. </div>

<div>I would propose a modest change to our rules to give the idea a try. Let's reduce our in-season salary cap from 360 to 330 which will reduce cap space from 100 to 70. It leaves more than enough room for adding salary during the year, but will moderate dump trades a bit.</div>
