“Replace the following player/Select what you wish to do:”), you will see an option for “waiver a pitcher or fill an open slot.” Once you click that, you will see a list of pitchers followed by “Slot 1, Open FA.” Select “Slot 1, Open FA” to use your empty
slot. Important note: when you have 17 reserves, the system does not give you an option to fill an open slot, so if you try to confirm what I am saying before you waive your player, you won’t see the empty slot listed.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
