Every team looks locked and loaded.</span></li><li class="x_MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Inflation is already running at a pre-draft $35% for hitting and it’s going to increase once the Brats roster is input. That’s unprecedented. Get out your checkbooks because
prices are going to be high.</span></li><li class="x_MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">I pity the teams that need middle infielders. That is going to be a bloodbath.</span></li><li class="x_MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">More and better beans kept than ever before. Even the bean-phobic teams like Kerber and Klein have good beans.</span></li><li class="x_MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">More predictions:</span></li><ol start="1" type="a" style="margin-top:0in">
<li class="x_MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Mark B won’t be able to get Judge so expect him to nab Soto at a stupid price. The key tell will be when his first bid is so quiet that at least one person at the table asks
him to speak up.</span></li><li class="x_MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Josh Hader will go for no less than $25. Look at the alternatives among the available closers if you wonder why. If he ONLY goes for $25, he will be a Berliner.</span></li><li class="x_MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Salvador Perez will go for no less than $20. The catching pool has been decimated by the (expected) retention of 7 out of the top 8 guys.</span></li><li class="x_MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Most expensive player at the draft will be Jose Ramirez. If I’ve scared Mark B away from Soto, that’s where he’ll land. Otherwise I predict he’s going to be a Nuke as Kerber
fills his corner slot with a tried and true talent to pair up with the $42 or more he spends on Cole.</span></li></ol>
