[USML Announce] **NOTICE OF HOT WAX SEAL**

By the way, I attempted to make two free agent bids prior to noon
yesterdayl. No one bid on either player, and I want to activate one or
possibly both of them. When they did not show up after noon, I sent
the commissioners an e-mail noting my bids. Not sure what happened,
but since no one else bid on either of them, I'm thinking it should be
no big deal.
Jeff/Mark/Rich: Can I assume I'm successful and go ahead and send a
transaction or announcement setting my roster and including the new
guys?
Mark

I vote to veto this trade so Brad can whine a little longer about
Andy's rule
changes. How could evryone not see this as an easy one simply based on
this
logic?

It occurs to me that this trade might not be effective until next
Sunday, as Sweeney's contract will not be "running" until today at
noon.
Commissioners ... a ruling please. I have Sweeney set to go active
today. Does that mean he is a Riptorn this week or next week?
