Max Scherzer (P)  DET  3/28/2011
Scherzer was rocked for 12 runs, 11 earned, in 2.1 innings during 
Monday's spring game. Scherzer gave up 20 earned runs over his last 
12.1 innings of the spring, so he certainly is not heading into the 
season on a high note.

WINNER:  Berliners - for having the foresight to get this bum off of 
their roster before he pulled a repeat of his 2010 disappointment.

LOSER:  To borrow a phrase from Howard Cossell:  "Down goes Brad Lee!"  
Scherzer was the keystone to holding the Riptorn pitching staff 
together.  Watch the rest of his highly touted young pitchers follow 
suit.  How long before Brad Lee is dumping?
