Brother Blocker:
Truth be told, given your reputation (well-earned or deserved or
otherwise), it may take until the Super Bowl to close a deal with you.
Nevertheless, as one who likes to dip his toe into a little venture
capitalism himself, I am glad to see that the Berliners have some
competition. And in reviewing your two rosters, it's like deciding between
Wal-Mart or K-Mart. As a proud public employee, I *have* to shop
there. So I've come to expect value pricing for the goods I must buy. And I
hope that other owners expect the same when negotiating with you two. We'll
see what the market can bear.
And note that my draft day was not particularly productive either, so I
too may be a seller not a buyer.

Thanks and good luck to all of you.

Brother Brad
