To the main point, awesome title race this year.  I'm loving the lead changes.

Indeed, it's looking like a last day/Laffey situation again - unless freakin' Tulowitzki ever wakes up!

There is one among us who has long touted the theory that $10 minor leaguers have no value whatsoever.  He shall go nameless. However, I hereby proclaim his theory thoroughly and completely discredited.

Exhibit A:  Francisco Lindor

In a mere 279 at bats, Francisco has hit 7 home runs, scored 33 runs, knocked in 31 and stolen 6 bases.  All while hitting a robust .308.  Of course, the fact that he plays shortstop makes these numbers even more valuable.

Exhibit B:  Miguel Sano

Over the course of only 180 at bats, Mr. Sano has hit 15 home runs, scored 33 runs, knocked in 42 and even stolen a base while hitting .294.  And he's a 3rd baseman, an otherwise exceedingly difficult slot to fill.

And to think that I tried to trade these guys away.

On the more important topic of the race for the Damon, the Toy Box fluctuates on a daily basis.  As of today, it projects the Hoosier Daddies as the champion.  However, the more important standings show the Berliners in first place.  What can't be contested is that this is the best race to the finish that the league has enjoyed in years.  In fact, if the Bombers and the Klein Nine stay competitive, this will be our best pennant race ever.  Good luck to everyone (even Mark B.)
