No one wants you to back out; it will throw off the average age of the league significantly.

Is drafting by phone, either you or a surrogate, an option?

If not, let’s see if we can find another solution.

Gentlemen,

It pains me to say that I will no longer be able to participate in this year's draft due to some wedding planning scheduling conflicts that have come up.  I am working on finding a draft proxy, but if anyone has other ideas or suggestions, I am open to hearing them.  My other option was to back out of the league, but given that I have every top prospect in the AL, that seems silly.

  Let the games begin....the 29th USML season will get underway soon.  We have now set a draft date -- it will occur on Sunday, March 19, starting at 8 am at Jeff Winick's offices.  Please make a note on your calendar's to block off that date.

  Now that we have a draft date set, here are the other deadlines that will apply:

March 12:  Retention rosters due

March 16:  Dump-a-dog deadline

March 19:  Draft day

April 2:  MLB Opening day
