Although….if Perez returns to his mediocre form of a few years ago and Allen sucks badly enough to lose his job and Cain gets traded to the NL and Estrada sucks half as bad as I expect him to in the second half, then perhaps you’ve just made it a contest.

Mazara's only $5, actually.  Yeah, I overpaid in general, and if I screwed myself it wouldn't be the first time.

But I added speed and a solid starting pitcher, which were my two biggest needs.  (Estrada's "struggling" is the product of his most recent appearance.  Allen's "shakiness" looks the same.)  Meanwhile, you're down 22 1/2 points, and you haven't made a move yet.  So bring it on, Jeffrey.

And you thought I'd be disappointed?!  I'm thrilled.

I'd like to tip my hat to the Calamari who have just pulled off one of the greatest fleecings, err trades in the history of the USML.  For Marco Estrada, no less.

Perhaps I'm missing something, but it looks to me like Kerber just:

Traded away a $5 Gary Sanchez and turned him into a $16 Salvador Perez (No improvement)

Swapped a top notch closer in Osuna for a shaky replacement in Cody Allen (Downgrade)

Turned the potential break-out talent, the $10 Nomar Mazara into the soon to be traded Lorenzo Cain (Risky) and

Sent away Rafael Devers $5, Boston's top prospect and a likely 2nd half call-up for the struggling Marco Estrada (14 ER in his last 23.1 innings)
